INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK is hiring a full-time Charge RN for the Ortho Med Surg unit. You will supervise and coordinate nursing care, manage patient flow, and partner with the care team to maintain high standards and safe patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold Oklahoma RN licensure with an AS in Nursing, BSN preferred, and current BLS. English communication is required; orientation covers department competencies.

Competenze

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Oklahoma.
• AS in Nursing required; BSN within two years preferred.
• Current BLS certification upon accepting PCN role.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Orientation will cover department competencies.

Mansioni

• Support standards of care with educators or supervisors as needed.
• Ensure caregiver assignments are safe and escalate issues.
• Lead unit performance improvement as directed by leadership.
• Coordinate delegation and patient care for assigned shift.
• Serve as primary contact for medical staff on shift and round.
• Manage patient assignments and unit workflow efficiently.
• Assist with patient flow and timely discharge planning.
• Forecast staffing needs for next 12–24 hours.
• Ensure breaks with buddy system and lunch coverage.
• Conduct safety huddles before each shift and maintain rounds.
