Job summary

St. Joseph Institute for Addiction in Port Matilda, PA is seeking an Overnight Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care, supervise LPNs and CNAs, and develop individualized care plans for patients in our behavioral health and addiction treatment setting.

You will assess patients, administer medications, coordinate with the treatment team, and educate patients and families while ensuring safety and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years’ nursing experience within clinical area of service.
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs and develops nursing care plans.
• Assesses patient status continuously and documents pertinent information.
• Administers medications per orders and documents counts and changes as needed.
• Communicates with the interdisciplinary team and reports changes promptly.
• Supervises care provided by LPNs and CNAs and educates patients and families.
