Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift. The RN will conduct comprehensive assessments, implement individualized care plans, and administer medications following physician orders and hospital protocols.

The role requires RN licensure, ADN with BSN preferred, and strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills to support high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse (RN) in good standing.
• Associate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
• Experience in acute care setting is preferred.
• Must be fluent in English and able to read, write, and speak.
• Knowledge of clinical nursing procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, regularly evaluating and revising as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and hospital protocol; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care to promote understanding.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care with effective communication.
