Job summary

Hartford Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 36-hour permanent night shift in our maternity/women's health area. You will provide holistic, high-quality nursing care, applying the nursing process within the organization's framework and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications include CT RN license, ASN, BLS, and 1 year of nursing experience with maternity or women’s health preferred; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to hire.
• Maternal/Newborn experience preferred.
• One year nursing experience required; previous maternity experience preferred.
• Experience in Women's Health or postoperative care desired.

Responsibilities

• Provides holistic, quality and cost-effective nursing care for patients/families within a unit or service.
• Applies the nursing process within the organization's Framework for Professional Practice and functions as clinically competent.
• Delegates and supervises work appropriately and reports to Unit Manager.
