Job summary

Hartford Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a permanent night shift position. You will deliver holistic, high-quality nursing care across a 36-hour/week schedule, applying nursing process and supervising support staff while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates hold an active CT RN license, ASN, BLS, with maternity/postpartum experience; BSN preferred. The role includes three 12-hour shifts, with every third weekend and alternating holidays.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut RN license.
• ASN degree required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification through AHA required before hire date.
• Maternal/Newborn experience preferred.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience; maternity experience preferred.
• Experience in Women's Health or postoperative care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, quality nursing care for patients and families.
• Apply the nursing process within the unit's framework.
• Delegate and supervise nursing care as appropriate.
• Report to the Unit Manager and collaborate with the care team.
