Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Hillcrest Simpsonville Medical Campus in an acute inpatient setting. You will provide direct patient care, conduct assessments, and collaborate with the care team to develop and update care plans.

The role requires compliance with regulations and continuing education, including on-call and weekend coverage as needed. This non-management position reports to Nursing Service and requires an Associate degree in Nursing with at least

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the nursing plan of care.
• Perform nursing assessments and develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate discharge planning and referrals for continuity of care.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to care standards and policies.
• Perform tasks per unit policies within the RN scope of practice.
• Document and communicate patient status and care plans effectively.
