Job summary

Prisma Health's Greenville Memorial Hospital seeks a registered nurse to provide clinical direction in an acute inpatient setting, delivering patient- and family-centered care while following safety, infection control, and policy standards. Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience - One (1) year experience as a registered nurse.
• Certifications - RN license.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and completes nursing assessment utilizing appropriate area and/or age specific standards/policies and tools.
• Develops an individual plan of care based on the age and assessed needs of the patient.
• Updates the plan based on changes in the patient’s condition and communicates changes in the plan to other members of the team.
• Identifies realistic and measurable goals and outcomes to be attained prior to discharge.
• Provides direct care to assigned patients consistent with the established nursing plan.
• Performs tasks within RN scope of practice and delegates appropriately.
• Monitors quality of care and ensures surveillance of patients.
• Assists with discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care.
