Job summary

Prisma Health’s Greenville Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the operating room. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, using evidence-based nursing practices to guide assessment, planning, and outcomes.

The RN will collaborate with the clinical team, adhere to regulatory standards, and participate in continuous quality improvement while handling night shifts, weekends, and on-call requirements as part of the OR staff.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience - One (1) year experience as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care in the operating room according to the established nursing plan.
• Monitors and coordinates patient care with the healthcare team to ensure safety and quality.
• Assess patients, develop and update care plans, and document progress and outcomes.
• Collaborates with providers and other team members to ensure effective care transitions and discharge planning.
