Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 36 hours per week on the Night Shift at Christiana Hospital on the 3D Transitional Stepdown Unit. The role involves ventilator management, COPD care, and complex diagnoses with a strong interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• BSN required for licensure and practice.

• Minimum one year of relevant acute or sub-acute experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver individualized care to adult patients with respiratory focus.
• Collaborate with nursing, social work, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and physicians.
• Care for ventilator-dependent and complex diagnoses and manage emergencies as needed.
• Support transitions to appropriate levels of care and manage 3-4 patient assignments.
