Job summary

ChristianaCare’s 6B Medical Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift (7p–7a) on a 3‑shift weekly schedule. The unit treats acute and chronic medical patients, with a focus on pneumonia, COPD, diabetes management, and related conditions.

A 20% shift differential applies to the entire shift. The role emphasizes relationship-based care, collaboration with families and colleagues, and adherence to ChristianaCare values of love and excellence.

Qualifications

• RN License in Delaware or a Compact State.
• BSN preferred or committed to acquiring BSN within 3 years of hire.
• At least three years of med/surg experience as an RN.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care on the 6B Medical Unit.
• Coordinate with charge nurse for daily patient assignments.
• Maintain relationship-based care with patients and families.
• Follow unit guidelines and departmental policies.
