Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license required (MercyOne Genesis).
• BLS required; ACLS required if telemetry is used.
• Mandatory reporter training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts an initial assessment within 30 minutes of arrival.
• Completes admission assessment within 24 hours.
• Identifies problems and develops an outcome-based plan.
• Implements care plans and coordinates with the team.
• Maintains discharge planning and education for patients.
