Job summary

The University of Southern California (USC) Keck Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide therapeutic care using the nursing process within an interdisciplinary team in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

You will coordinate patient education, document plans, administer medications and IV therapy, and contribute to discharge planning and safety standards, while maintaining high nursing quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• 1 year acute inpatient hospital experience in the United States.
• Excellent communication skills and English proficiency.
• Knowledge of medical procedures and adherence to policies.
• Committed to excellence in patient care.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care and education with patients and families.
• Complete Nursing Assessments upon admission, shifts, and changes in condition.
• Administer medications and IV therapy per policy.
• Ensure accurate documentation on all flow sheets and plans of care.
• Collaborate with Case Manager on discharge planning.
