Job summary

Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia, is hiring Full Time RNs for day shifts (7am-7pm). Eligible nurses with 2 years of experience may receive a $7,000 bonus; NEW GRAD RNs may receive a $6,000 bonus.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate total nursing care for assigned patients under supervision, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, culturally competent care.

Qualifications

• RN license in Virginia or a compact state at hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required at hire.
• Weekend and irregular shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and develop a care plan.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care coordination.
• Provide patient education and discharge planning.
• Delegate tasks and supervise non-professional staff.
