Job summary

The Valley Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Mancos, CO is looking for Registered Nurses to join our compassionate team on full-time or part-time night shifts. You will provide skilled nursing care, follow care plans, and support the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact state license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Passion for delivering exceptional resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Assess resident conditions and communicate changes with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and independence.
• Mentor and support fellow nursing staff while fostering a positive team culture.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, facility policies, and nursing standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives that enhance resident outcomes.
