Job summary

The Valley Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Mancos, CO is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. We offer full-time and part-time night shifts with competitive pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible full-time night shift RNs.

You'll deliver resident-centered care, supervise LPNs and CNAs, document meticulously, and participate in quality improvement. We provide comprehensive benefits, daily pay, tuition assistance, and opportunities for leadership growth

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license or compact state license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care per care plans.
• Assess resident conditions and communicate changes to the team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, and independence.
• Mentor and support fellow nursing staff while fostering a positive team culture.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and nursing standards.

What You'll Do

As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional, resident-centered care while leading and supporting the nursing team.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans




• Assess resident conditions and communicate changes with physicians and the interdisciplinary team




• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately




• Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)




• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation




• Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and independence




• Mentor and support fellow nursing staff while fostering a positive team culture




• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, facility policies, and nursing standards




• Participate in quality improvement initiatives that enhance resident outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact state license




• Graduate of an accredited nursing program




• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills




• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented




• Long-term care experience is preferred but not required
