The RN will supervise shift routines, document care, and supervise staff while adhering to nursing practice acts and facility policies.

The role requires Colorado RN licensure, CPR, and CEUs, with long-term care experience preferred. A strong focus on patient safety, communication with families, and medication administration

Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN license is required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Maintain required CEUs.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership and strong communication.
• Ability to prioritize duties and provide excellent customer service.
• Proficient with nursing process, resident assessments, and documentation.
• Computer use for timekeeping, in-servicing and charting.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on the assigned unit and model professional communication.
• Perform rounds, assign personnel, and ensure shift tasks are completed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders; document promptly and accurately.
• Complete care plans, charts, and change-in-condition assessments.
• Participate in committee meetings and employee evaluations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful care environment for residents.
