Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift (36 hours) from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with a $2,500 sign-on bonus. The role involves providing professional nursing care on a designated unit, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team, and taking on Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed, on a set 12-hour Friday/Saturday/Sunday schedule.

Qualifications include an ADN/ASN (BSN preferred), Florida RN licensure, and psychiatric clinical

Qualifications

• Education: ADN/ASN required; Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Credentials: Licensure by the Florida Board of Nursing required.
• Experience: Clinical experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to manage patients with crisis prevention interventions; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Background: Must pass Level 2 Background Screening.
• Additional Requirements: CPR/HCP or BLS certification; Handle with Care training within 7 days of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit per nursing process.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing care as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• Assume shift responsibilities and participate in Charge Nurse duties as required.
• Promote and enhance professional nursing practice on the unit.
