Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 5South oncology telemetry unit. You will deliver individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families per hospital guidelines, using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.

The ideal candidate has 1 year inpatient hospital experience, medical-surgical nursing expertise, and familiarity with head and neck cancers, GU, and post-op patients. BSN/ASN required with Florida licensure.

Qualifications

• BSN from ACEN or CCNE accredited program with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• ASN from ACEN or CCNE accredited program with 1 year of relevant experience.
• BCLS Certification and Florida license are required.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate care for cancer patients and families.
• Integrates patient- and family-centered care and quality caring factors into practice.
• Provides patient education based on learning needs and participates in improvement activities.
