Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 5South medical/telemetry oncology unit. This 22-bed unit provides a dynamic environment where you’ll deliver individualized patient care within a dedicated interdisciplinary team.

This contract role is 13 weeks, hourly pay of $65 with no benefits. Requirements include a BSN or ASN with one year of inpatient experience, Florida licensure, and BCLS certification. Join us to advance cancer care in a world-class center.

Qualifications

• One year of inpatient hospital experience required.
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience as a registered nurse.
• Experience with Head and Neck Cancers, GU, and post-op patients.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs.
• Participates in Evidence based improvement activities related to area of practice.
• Participates in professional development based on the nursing standards and requirements.
