Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical - Oncology unit. This 12-hour night shift delivers direct patient care in Telemetry, applying nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Requirements include an active RN license, BLS and ACLS; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN license.
Current BLS certificate on hire and maintain current.
ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
Ventilator management experience preferred.
RN-BC or similar certification preferred.
BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process in the Telemetry Unit.
Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.

Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation

Ventilator Management

RN-BC Certification Encouraged

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Current and valid State RN License

Current BLS certification
