Qualifications

• BSN or ASN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification; willingness to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON per manager requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients to move through their episode of care with safety and quality.
• Delegates, directs, oversees and provides developmentally appropriate patient care.
• Promotes patient advocacy in line with the ANA Code of Ethics.
• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach and documents per standards.
• Communicates care needs to LPNs, PCAs, unit staff and allied health personnel.
• Uses evidence-based practices to plan, implement, educate and evaluate care.
