Jefferson Health in the United States is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to administer respiratory care and monitor patients with pulmonary disorders. The role includes evaluating conditions, collaborating with physicians, and ensuring compliance with care standards at Jefferson Health's East Norriton location.

The ideal candidate holds NBRC credentials, state licensure, a 2-year Associate's degree, and BLS certification, with ACLS/NALS preferred.

Formación

• Must be a graduate of an AMA approved School of Respiratory Care.
• Licensed by the State Board of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Registered by NBRC or must obtain NBRC registration within 2 years of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Interact with colleagues and ensure care aligns with Jefferson values.
• Administer physician-prescribed respiratory therapy including oxygen, medications, PFTs, ABGs, and ventilation.
• Evaluate patient status and adjust care per department protocols to improve outcomes.
• Monitor patients on mechanical ventilation and perform routine clinical assessments.
• Collect specimens and analyze results to guide treatment decisions.
• Communicate with the health care team to coordinate services.
