Job summary

Eligible candidates must hold an AS in Respiratory Care, NBRC RRT, MA license, and BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS required within 3 months of employment.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Respiratory Care required.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Massachusetts State Respiratory Care License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 3 months of employment.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within 3 months of employment.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides all aspects of respiratory therapy per department policies.
• Reviews patient records for history and orders.
• Administers aerosolized medications.
• Draws and analyzes arterial blood gases; reports critical values.
