Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) PRN to provide care across acute settings. You will assist with ventilation, deliver respiratory therapies, and support patients and families. This role requires NBRC-RRT certification, RRT/RCP-State licensure, and BCLS.

Minimal schedule includes a minimum of 2 night shifts per week with the chance to grow within a collaborative team in a tertiary hospital setting.

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT certification required
• RRT/RCP-State licensure required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and plan interventions
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen, aerosols, and airway clearance
• Manage ventilation and airway support including invasive and noninvasive modes
• Educate patients and families, support the care team, assist with newborn stabilization when needed
• Maintain and disinfect equipment, ensure readiness and safety
