Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) PRN to join a supportive team. This role requires a minimum of 2 night shifts per week and involves guiding patients through routine and critical care, using advanced respiratory technology, and collaborating with physicians and nurses.

You will deliver oxygen and aerosolized therapies, assist with ventilation management, educate patients and families, and uphold infection-prevention standards while growing clinically under experienced

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT credential required
• RRT/RCP state license
• BCLS certification; instructor required

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine interventions.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen and aerosols.
• Manage ventilation and airway support with invasive/noninvasive methods.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with care team.
• Maintain and disinfect equipment; ensure infection-prevention standards.
