Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) PRN to support patient care across care settings. The role involves diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including both invasive and noninvasive ventilation, with access to advanced respiratory technology and mentorship from RT leaders.

You will perform focused assessments, deliver evidence-based therapies, and educate patients and families while maintaining equipment and following infection-prevention standards.

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT credential required.
• State licensure as RRT/RCP expected.
• BCLS certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine needed interventions.
• Provide evidence-based therapies including oxygen and aerosolized meds.
• Manage ventilation and airway support across settings.
• Educate patients and families; coordinate with care team.
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection prevention standards.
