Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) PRN to support patient care across night shifts. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures, manage ventilation and airway needs, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to stabilize patients during critical moments.

The role includes patient and family education, equipment maintenance, and adherence to infection-prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold NBRC-RRT credential.
• State licensure as RRT/RCP required.
• Relevant certificate is required.
• BCLS certification, or BCLS instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen and meds.
• Manage ventilation and airway support across care settings.
• Educate patients and families; partner with care team.
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection-prevention standards.
