Responsibilities

• Sets up, assesses and monitors patients on ventilator or oxygenation support.
• Assists in orientation, training and education of new respiratory care staff; obtains and analyzes blood gas samples as ordered.
• Participates in quality improvement activities to ensure continuous improvement of services.
• Performs related unit-specific duties and may lead in charge when needed.
