Job summary

Coshocton Regional Medical Center seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner II for a per diem night shift (6pm-6am). The role involves delivering respiratory therapies and diagnostic procedures under medical direction, with emphasis on patient assessment, planning, and documentation across age groups.

Qualifications include active RCP license, NBRC RRT, BLS/ACLS, and PALS (or obtain within 60 days). A neonatal resuscitation certificate is preferred, with 2 years of acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• NBRC RRT certification either current or obtained within three months of hire.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification from AHA or ARC upon hire and maintained.
• PALS certification from AHA or ARC upon hire and maintained, or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate is preferred.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director, perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Emphasize assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care, with consideration of age and population-specific needs.
• May serve as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor and assume responsibility for the section or department during the shift.
