Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner I to perform respiratory therapies and pulmonary diagnostics under physician order. Emphasis lies on assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of patient care for diverse populations.

This Per Diem night-shift role requires NBRC-CRT, state RCP license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 60 days of hire, plus 2 years acute care experience. A HS diploma is required; degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• CRT NBRC required. Hired before March 2026, are exempt.
• BLS certified within hire and maintained.
• ACLS within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physician.
• Assist in assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of patient care, with age/population specific considerations.
• May be designated Lead RCP in supervisor's absence, overseeing the section during the shift.
