Job summary

HonorHealth is recruiting a Respiratory Therapist for night shift PRN coverage across the inter-campus network of hospitals in the Phoenix area. Qualifications

• Experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Experience in a network float position is required.
• Clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and administers respiratory care equipment and procedures for diagnosis and treatment.
• Performs arterial puncture, blood gas analysis, co-oximetry, ECGs, electrolytes, and basic pulmonary function testing.
• Operates and monitors mechanical ventilators and adjusts as ordered.
• Maintains airway patency and humidification; assists with transport of ventilated patients.
• Performs routine respiratory treatments and oxygen administration for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• Documents treatments, tests, responses, and changes in medical records.
