Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support a network float pool across multiple centers in the Phoenix area. The role requires setting up and operating respiratory equipment, performing ABG and other tests, and ensuring patient airway management and safe ventilation.

The position involves collaboration with physicians and nurses, documentation of care in medical records, and participation in resuscitations as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2 year AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• Graduate of a 4 year AMA approved Respiratory Care program is preferred.
• 6 months of experience for Network float position is required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and administers respiratory care equipment and procedures for diagnosis and treatment.
• Performs arterial puncture and arterial blood gas analysis and other testing.
• Monitors and adjusts mechanical ventilators; ensures airway patency and proper humidification.
• Documents treatments and patient responses in medical records.
• Assists with resuscitations and traumas as assigned.
