Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to set up and manage respiratory care for adult to neonatal patients across multiple campuses. You will evaluate therapies, operate ventilators, perform ABG analysis, and document patient responses in the medical record.

The position supports a network float pool and requires flexibility with rotating shifts, holidays, and weekend coverage at several HonorHealth centers throughout the greater Phoenix area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program is required.
• Clinical experience and registry/licensure as a Respiratory Therapist preferred.
• Network float pool requires willingness to rotate among campuses.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and administer respiratory care equipment and procedures.
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis, co-oximetry, ECGs, and other tests as needed.
• Monitor mechanical ventilators and adjust settings per orders.
• Assist with patient transport and resuscitations, ensure airway patency.
• Document treatments, tests, and patient responses in medical records.
