Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Respiratory Therapist license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required.
• NRP required within 3 months of hire or transfer into position.

Responsibilities

• Set up, apply, and administer therapy using the full range of respiratory equipment.
• Monitor patient condition and adjust therapy as directed.
• Perform pulmonary function testing and blood gas analysis as needed.
• Provide education to patients on therapies and home equipment when requested.
