Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners is recruiting a Respiratory Therapist for a community-focused hospital in Ohio on the night shift.

You will administer respiratory therapies, manage ventilators, and perform intubations when needed, while monitoring patients across ages and documenting findings in the PCN. Ohio licensure and CRT/RRT credentials are required, with a 3rd weekend rotation and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• CRT or RRT credential and Ohio license to practice.
• Current BLS; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• 3+ years of cardiopulmonary experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and documentation skills.
• Physical stamina for active clinical environment (lift up to ~50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy across all ages including pediatric and geriatric.
• Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators; airway management and suctioning.
• Perform emergency intubation and airway management as needed.
• Monitor oxygen delivery methods and equipment; note side effects.
• Perform arterial blood gas punctures and analyze results.
• Perform EKGs and transmit reports to physicians.
• Inspect and safely operate respiratory therapy equipment.
• Assess patient response and adjust care plans.
• Document data in the PCN after services.
• Develop patient and family teaching plans; evaluate learning.
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend rotation.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and QI activities.
