Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is sourcing a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a community hospital in Ohio. The night shift runs 6:30 PM–7:00 AM with a regular weekend rotation every third weekend.

Responsibilities include managing ventilators, airway procedures, ECGs, and patient assessment. Requires active Ohio license, CRT or RRT, and NRP/ACLS/PALS; benefits include relocation assistance and a weekday-optional schedule on weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Licensed by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.
• BLS certified; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments across all patient ages, including pediatric to geriatric.
• Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators and airway management.
• Perform emergency intubation and airway management.
• Monitor oxygen delivery methods and equipment; watch for side effects.
• Perform arterial punctures for blood gas analysis; handle complications.
