Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd seeks a Respiratory Therapist for a community hospital in Ohio, night shift (6:30 PM–7:00 AM) on a 36 hr/week schedule. Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway procedures, and emergency intubation across all ages.

The ideal candidate holds CRT or RRT, Ohio licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, and 3+ years in cardiopulmonary services; on-site work with relocation support offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC CRT or RRT certification; Ohio licensure.
• Current Ohio Respiratory Therapist license; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certificates.
• 3+ years in cardiopulmonary care preferred; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies across all ages including pediatric to geriatric.
• Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators and airway management.
• Perform emergency intubation and airway management.
• Monitor oxygen delivery methods and detect side effects.
• Perform arterial blood gas punctures and related assessments.
• Conduct EKGs and transmit results to physicians.
• Inspect and operate respiratory equipment safely.
• Assess patient status and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document data in PCN after services.
• Participate in on-call and 3rd weekend rotations.
• Engage in staff meetings, education, QI activities, and in-services.
• Demonstrate professional development and image at all times.
