Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Ohio on the night shift. The role requires 36 hours per week with every 3rd weekend rotation and work hours 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

You will administer therapies, manage ventilators, perform intubations, monitor oxygen delivery, and document results. A valid Ohio license, CRT/RRT certification, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP are required, with 3+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC CRT or RRT certification; Ohio license.
• Current BLS; ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
• 3+ years in cardiopulmonary services preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy across all ages, including pediatric to geriatric.
• Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators and airway management.
• Perform emergency intubation and airway management.
• Monitor oxygen delivery methods and equipment; watch for side effects.
• Perform arterial blood gas punctures and interpret results.
• Conduct EKGs and transmit reports to physicians.
• Inspect and operate respiratory therapy equipment for proper function.
• Assess patient tolerance and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document data in the PCN after services.
