Job summary

SnapCare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for 12-hour night shifts at our Flint, MI facility. The RT will manage airways, ventilators, BiPAPs, and heated high flows, while providing intensive respiratory care and patient transport within a specialized hospital setting.

The role requires skill in invasive and non-invasive ventilation, airway management, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and adherence to BLS/ACLS protocols, with thorough documentation and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• Experience with Puritan Bennett 840 ventilators and Phillips V60 BiPAPs.
• Proficient in airway management and invasive/non-invasive ventilation.
• Ability to perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning per protocol.
• Proven track record in providing intensive respiratory care in acute settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage airways, ventilators, BiPAPs, and heated high flows.
• Provide intensive respiratory care and patient transport.
• Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning.
• Monitor oximetry, capnography, and chest X-rays as ordered.
• Code/CPR per BLS and ACLS guidelines.
• Document treatments and patient responses in care records.
