Job summary

Trinity Health Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, MI is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide individualized respiratory care across all ages. This full-time night-shift role requires NBRC RRT, Michigan license, and current BLS; NRP and ACLS are expected within 6 months.

You will collaborate with the care team, participate in staff training, and ensure accurate documentation and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC is required.
• Current licensure to practice in Michigan as Respiratory Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.
• NRP and ACLS certifications required within 6 months of hire.
• Previous respiratory therapist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized respiratory care for all ages.
• Assist with improving overall quality of patient care.
• Collaborate with the health care team to coordinate services.
• Participate in orientation and student training programs for Trinity Health System.
• Document and charges accurately for each patient encounter.
• Maintain and monitor respiratory equipment and request service as needed.
• Engage in ongoing education to maintain skills and competency.
