Advocate Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for Advocate Lutheran General Hospital - Respiratory Therapy Services in Park Ridge. The role is 0.9 FTE with 7pm–7am nights and weekend coverage as part of the weekender program.

The position requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, CRT certification, and eligibility for AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS where applicable. Sign-on bonuses and education assistance are offered as part of total rewards.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• CRT certification expected; BLS and ACLS/PALS may be required.
• Able to operate respiratory care equipment and ventilators.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive respiratory care.
• Operate ventilators in critical and non-critical settings.
• Administer prescribed therapies per physician orders.
• Educate patients about therapy and disease management.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; ensure patient safety.
