Job summary

Osborne Association is seeking a full-time Resident Aide/Security for The Fulton Community Reentry Center in New York, providing transitional housing for formerly incarcerated men. This role includes ensuring safety, security, and well-being of clients, along with administrative duties and crisis intervention. The position offers four weeks vacation, flexible schedules, and comprehensive benefits.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma, NYS Security Guard and FDNY Fire Guard Licenses, and CPR/First Aid Certification. The ideal candidate will have experience in a residential facility and excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience in a residential facility.
• Experience with dual-diagnosed individuals, mental health, and substance abuse issues.
• Valid CPR/First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of all clients and staff.
• Perform regular foot patrols of the facility.
• Intervene to de-escalate crisis situations.
