Job summary

Abiitan, an Ecumen community in downtown Minneapolis, seeks a Part-Time Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and health-related tasks. Responsibilities include documenting services, following care plans, and assisting with medications as delegated by the Clinical Director or RN.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be 17 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities per care plan (dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, ambulation, transferring).
• Observe, document and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Promote independence and support residents in self‑help skills.
• Assist with medication administration as delegated by the RN.
