Job summary

Great Lakes Management is seeking a Resident Assistant for the Bloomington site. Work hours are 10pm-6am with a pay range of $17-$25 per hour. Location is Amira Choice Bloomington.

The role focuses on hands-on care, communication with residents and families, and collaboration with nursing staff. Qualifications include at least six months in long-term care or assisted living (preferred) and nursing assistant certifications (preferred). The position offers shift differentials and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living (Preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated on the service plan.
• Help residents achieve and maintain highest possible level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service plan.
• Observe residents and report changes to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as needed.
• Complete required documentation daily and maintain schedules and communication books.
