Job summary

Great Lakes Management is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant for Amira Choice Bloomington in Bloomington, MN. The role focuses on hands-on care, assisting residents with daily living activities, dining, and community activities, under supervision.

This position emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork in a supportive environment. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, with shift differentials and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred)
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated on the individualized service agreement
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of independence and performance
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service agreement
• Observe clients and report changes in condition to the case manager
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, and communication book.
