Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Mount Vernon, IL is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide compassionate daily care to assigned residents in accordance with care plans and facility policies. The role requires supporting residents, attending training to obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant, and performing related duties as directed by supervisors.

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with benefits including paid time off and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education - HS Diploma / GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Demonstrated competencies as a written and verbal communicator
• Background and experience in shared decision-making processes

Responsibilities

• Provide each assigned resident with compassionate routine daily nursing care and service.
• Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes to obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant
• Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath and other care functions as necessary.
• Prepare residents for meals and serve food, record intake of food and fluids.
• All other duties as assigned.
