Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, Georgia is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for night shift, PRN coverage. The role focuses on accurate data collection, ongoing assessments, and evidence-based care planning aligned with interdisciplinary goals.

You will administer medications, educate patients and families, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and effective handoffs. RN licensure and CPR certification are required, with BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate high-level abstract reasoning to evaluate data and plan care.
• Must be fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Current RN license and BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and document health data systematically and timely.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care with interdisciplinary goals.
• Implement care interventions safely and document actions taken.
• Communicate with patients, families, and staff to promote understanding.
• Educate patients on conditions and care plans to ensure compliance.

• Ensure proper use of supplies and safe handoff communication.
