Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license and BLS certification.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• 1+ year hospital/acute care nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop SMART care plans.
• Administer medications and perform wound care, catheterization, and IV therapy.
• Educate patients and families and provide discharge planning.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists and nurses to ensure coordinated care.
• Document care activities accurately and protect patient privacy per HIPAA.
• Monitor patient safety and participate in bedside shift reports.
• Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
