Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care
• Coordinate care with medical staff and ancillary departments
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust care plans to improve health
• Ensure compliance with infection control and regulatory requirements
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication
• Supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare team members
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement activities
• Respond promptly to code situations and provide stabilizing interventions
