Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Registered Sleep Tech for the Sleep Disorders Center. This part-time night shift role runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Location is in northern Michigan within Munson Healthcare's network.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in sleep studies (PSG, PAP titration, CO2/O2 monitoring), and hold BRPT/NBRC/ABRET eligibility. High school diploma or GED required. Training within 18 months to achieve BRPT status is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BRPT/NBRC/ABRET certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in all areas of sleep study including calibration, monitoring, measurement and documentation and treatment (PSG, PAP titration, CO2 monitoring, oxygen administration).
• Score polysomnogram and generate reports summarizing sleep/wake period, REM episodes, arousal analysis, EEG phenomena and cardiac/respiratory events.
• Troubleshooting HSAT problems in center equipment.
• Assist with sleep center new employee orientation as directed.
• Responsible for supply/inventory maintenance in the absence of the Manager.
